Easy Home Remedies For Earache

Earache is one of the common health problems inside your homes. There are cases that are difficult to resolve especially if involves young children who do not know how to explain exactly how it happened and what has caused it. These remedies are safe and proven effective and the ingredients being used in the mixture are just available in your kitchen and in your nearest markets.

1. Olive Oil for Ear Pain:

How to use:  Place a little amount of olive oil in a tablespoon and warm it on the stove for a few seconds. How to use: Grate a piece of onion and extract the juice and then slowly heat it with low heat. Let it cool and filter it and then apply 2 to 3 drops of onion juice into the ear.

Another option is to crush or finely chop a piece of onion and place it in a clean cloth and then wrap it tightly. Place the wrapped onion into your ear and hold it for 5 to 10 minutes. Do it many times until the pain is relieved.

8. Ear Inspection:

Young children should be treated differently. Once a child started to complain about his ear by just pointing his fingers into it, do an immediate visual check up to see if there are tiny objects or insects inside the ear. Relieve the child by keeping him calm so that it will be easy for you to check. If you do not see any obstruction apply cold or hot compress to temporarily relieve the pain.

8. Call 911 for Help:

If the child doesn’t stop crying after your initial remedy, the best thing to do is to call 911. This is also applicable to adults.
